The Foundation is guided by the principle that compassion should be supported by knowledge, and that responsible action should be informed by careful research, thoughtful planning, and meaningful collaboration.
Rather than acting quickly without sufficient understanding, the Foundation seeks to study challenges, evaluate opportunities, and develop strategies that can create the greatest long-term benefit for animals, biodiversity, and society.

Why Research Comes First
